Natural Gas Public Safety
The City of Louisburg encourages all residents and businesses to be familiar with the City's public awareness campaign for natural gas and equipment.
In the event you suspect a natural gas leak, immediately leave the area and then call City Hall at 913-837-5371 option 1 or dial 911. The City has created a natural gas public safety flyer that provides tips on what to do and what not to do in the event you think you smell natural gas.
Swift911 Utility Emergency Notification
You may also sign up for utility notifications through SwiftReach. This service sends notifications if service will be disconnected for non-payment. Alerts will also be sent if there is a water or gas leak or if service will be disrupted for planned utility repairs. Those interested in the SwiftReach alerts can either text SWIFT911 to 99538 or download the Swift911 Public app available on Google Play or iTunes.
