Utilities

The City of Louisburg provides natural gas, water, and sewer connections. For questions related to account billing, new accounts, and shut-offs, contact Jessica McGowin.

You can pay your bill online. Look for the "Service Address" on your statement and input that address as it appears on the statement. This address might be different from the mailing address under your name. For example, the mailing address might say 215 S. Broadway but the service address is 215 S Broadway (no period on the S)

You can pay your bill by phone, phone number 877-690-3729. You need to enter jurisdiction code 2616 and enter your account number to finish the transaction. There is no fee for this service. Payments will no longer be accepted over the phone at City Hall.

Natural Gas Public Safety

The City of Louisburg encourages all residents and businesses to be familiar with the City's public awareness campaign for natural gas and equipment.

In the event you suspect a natural gas leak, immediately leave the area and then call City Hall at 913-837-5371 option 1 or dial 911. The City has created a natural gas public safety flyer that provides tips on what to do and what not to do in the event you think you smell natural gas.

You may also sign up for utility notifications through SwiftReach. This service sends notifications if service will be disconnected for non-payment. Alerts will also be sent if there is a water or gas leak or if service will be disrupted for planned utility repairs.
