Salvation Army Bell Ringers

Bell ringers are needed at the Salvation Army kettle located at Price Chopper in Louisburg. All money raised in Miami County stays in the county. Each shift is 2 hours and time slots are available from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. starting Friday, Nov. 28. In 2025, the Louisburg Chamber will be taking over the bell ringing scheduling. 2025 marks the 27th year for belling ringing in Louisburg.

Bell ringing must occur outside the grocery store. Bell ringers will find a folder with information in the cart including emergency contact information. 

Ringers will sign up at the Salvation Army's Register to Ring page. You will be leaving the City of Louisburg's website.

Follow these steps to sign up:

  1. Go to the Register To Ring webpage and choose the "Register to Ring as an Individual" option
  2. On the Welcome Volunteers page, type Louisburg, Kansas in the box
  3. Enter the date range you would like to ring
  4. Choose Louisburg and Price Chopper under the Select City/Select Location options
  5. Select the desired time slot and then the red "Select Shifts" button
  6. You will be prompted to create an account
  7. After creating an account, you can complete your sign-up by choosing a single or multiple shifts
