The collection site will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Citizens may bring their controlled, non-controlled and over-the-counter substances to be collected. Needles are not accepted - these would include any intra-venous (IV) solutions, injectables or syringes. Epi-pens are accepted. Cough syrup sealed in the original container can be collected. Inhalers and other compressed air cylinders are not accepted. Illicit substances are not part of the collection. The DEA has a list of complete protocols and FAQs for the event.
