Fishing Derby

  2. Please fill out the form and check the volunteer box for each activity in which you are interested.
  18. Registration
    Two to four volunteers are needed to register children the morning of the fishing derby. Hours are 7-8 a.m.
  19. Fishing Assistant
    The assistant should like to fish and willing to assist children with fishing, especially those that might not have fished before. Hours need are from 7-10 a.m. An unlimited number of assistants are needed.
  20. Judge
    Six or more judges are needed to measure each fish caught and record its length. Hours needed are from 7:30-10 a.m.
  22. Tabulator & Prizes
    Four to six volunteers are needed to help determine the most fish caught, biggest fish caught and total inches of fish caught. These volunteers will also distribute prizes to youth who participate.
  23. Food
    Two to four volunteers are needed to grill hot dogs and set up and distribute food to the youth after the fishing derby is finished at 10 a.m.
  24. Clean-up
    An unlimited number of volunteers are needed to clean up the area when the derby is over.
