Cemetery

There are several cemeteries located in and around Louisburg that are rich in local history. The City of Louisburg owns the cemetery along Amity Street/K-68 Highway on the west side of town. The original section of the cemetery is located at 800 W. Amity and the new section is located at 1000 W. Amity. If you are interested in acquiring a funeral plot at the Louisburg Cemetery, or desire further information, please contact city hall. 

Burial records at Louisburg Cemetery are available for the original section of the cemetery (east of the ravine) and the new section of the cemetery (west of the ravine). Burial record information was last updated in June 2021.

Maps for Louisburg Cemetery include the "new" cemetery's center section and the east and west sides of the center section as well as an original cemetery map for the original section. Maps were last updated in 2017.
