Building Permits
The Planning & Development Department is in the process of updating its license and permit applications to a third-party vendor that is also used by the City for utility start/stop services. This new system will enable a homeowner or contractor to complete the application, submit all required documentation and receive a permit in a digital format. The new permit system will also allow the applicant to log in to see where the permit is in the process. You will need to create an account in the permit software to utilize the service.
Currently, these permits are available and can be accessed through the permit site:
Accessory Building, Concrete (Driveway, Patio, Sidewalk), Deck, Fence, Pool & Spa, New Residential Construction, Roof, Signs and Special Temporary Event/Temporary Sign.

All other permits are available below as fillable PDFs. These permits may be completed on your computer and either saved and emailed to the address on the form or printed and dropped off at the time you pay the permit fee.

The City has erosion & control standards for building construction projects that disturb less than 1 acre and do not require a Land Disturbance Permit.
The City has a concrete design standard and policy.
The City offers a building permit waiver on the construction of new-single family homes.
